For now, DonCha makes hanging hammocks from fleece and cotton. They can also be padded with Koflin (thermal batting) or flannel for extra coziness. Hang the hammock on your cage bars wherever it fits best, depending on your cage setup. It’s machine washable. With its beautiful fabric pattern, it instantly brightens your pet’s space.
A hanging hammock provides your pet with luxurious resting and sleeping spots. Your little friend will happily nap on it or hide underneath it, giving them a roofed, secure hideaway that makes them feel safe.
You can adjust the hammock’s height so your pet doesn’t struggle to jump onto it. This ensures safety and comfort, especially for guinea pigs, rats, chinchillas, and ferrets. When I first set up a hammock for my guinea pigs, I didn’t expect such excitement. It took about a week for them to get used to it and claim it as their own—but now, there’s nothing cuter than seeing them sleep in it. They even use it for play, running across it and jumping up and down. Truly a fantastic piece of “furniture”!

Stands for Hanging Hammocks:
DonCha also offers wooden stands for hanging hammocks. These are perfect if you have larger enclosures or cages. They look great (I must emphasize that!), are easy to set up, and have been thoroughly tested with our rodents. Not only do they enhance the space, but your pet will fall in love with this piece of furniture.
Since the stands are made of natural, untreated wood, your pets can also safely gnaw a little to help keep their teeth healthy.
