The DonChas shelf is easy to install on a cage wall (wire mesh).

Read carefully! Shelves are attached to the “walls” of the cage. They are an important part of your pet’s setup, and every cage should ideally have a few shelves.
Chinchillas enjoy jumping between them. Make sure the shelves are spaced far enough apart for safe jumping, but not too far, as your pet could get injured if it jumps too far.

Besides providing exercise for your pet, the shelves also offer a resting place. This is especially important if your cage has a wire bottom, which can be hard on your pet’s feet.

Adding shelves also increases the usable space of the cage, particularly for taller cages made for chinchillas, allowing for climbing and better use of vertical space.

Shelves are also suitable for other small animals (rats, chinchillas, birds – pigeons, parrots, etc.). Custom orders are available.

The set includes:

• Wooden shelf

• 4 wooden squares (optional use for better attachment)

• Screws for installation (pre-inserted in the shelf)

Installation can be adjusted according to your pet’s abilities.

Since the shelves are made of wood, rodents may gnaw on them slightly. The wood is spruce, safe for animals.
