- Guinea pigs are very afraid of loud bangs and noises.
- Make sure to draw the curtains, lower the blinds, and keep windows closed.
- Guinea pigs especially love hiding places. During the holiday season, this is even more important!
- Keep the radio or TV on to help “mask” the loud noises during the busiest hours of celebration.
- Give them an extra-large portion of hay and food!
- If you are celebrating at home and there will be a lot going on, make sure the animals are not in the center of the activity.
